Part presentation

Turbines are a real case study in 3D printing. Indeed, the use of 3D printing makes it possible to free oneself from certain constraints related to the manufacturing process, such as machining or injection molding.

This part has been printed with a New Pam Series P in PLA and with a 0.8 mm diameter nozzle. With a diameter of 290 mm and a height of 55 mm, this turbine was printed with intermediate resolution for rapid prototype production. Despite some cantilevered angles, the turbine was 3D printed without the need for structural support material.
