Aluminum oxide

Aluminum oxide (Al2O3)

Alumina or aluminum oxide is a chemical compound of aluminium and oxygen with the chemical formula Al2O3. Is the most well-known oxide ceramic material.
Aluminum oxide is an electrical insulator and has a relatively high thermal conductivity (30 Wm−1K−1). Due to its relatively high hardness, it is used as an abrasive and a component in cutting tools.

This ceramic is widely used in the Medical industry, Military and protective equipment, Electrical and electronics industry, Gem industry, Industrial applications, etc.
