Stainless steel - 316L

Stainless steel - 316L (1.4404)

It is a marine grade stainless steel, the second most common austenitic stainless steel after 304 stainless steel. The molybdenum present in its alloying constituents provides greater corrosion resistance than 304. 316L grade is the low carbon version of 316 stainless steel.

It is commonly used in chemical and petrochemical industry, in food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, medical devices, in marine applications, etc.
